An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Abrahamsson in the 33rd minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Jens Bohlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Köping's Adrian Brander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vidar Ekblom. When Ian Kvalfält fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köping's protests and gave Ian Kvalfält a yellow card for diving instead.
