The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Övertorneå RK's Jesper Pedersson got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Ninjas FK booed when Övertorneå RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Pedersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjörn Grep got free with Per-Olof Berglund in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prophet Mohammed charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prophet Mohammed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Övertorneå RK booed when Ninjas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prophet Mohammed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gösta Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Lind in the 24th minute of play. Jesper Pedersson made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roger Malm immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Ninjas FK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ralf Wennerberg hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Benjamin Kruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Grep stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torbjörn Grep took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Olof Berglund. Per-Olof Berglund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 60 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Grep notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Övertorneå RK's Per-Olof Berglund. Per-Olof Berglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Torbjörn Grep scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Olof Berglund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 minutes, Lars-Erik Jakobsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninjas FK and the Övertorneå RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ninjas FK.
