Peder Gernberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Jonny Almqvist made a huge save. 5 minutes into the game, BK Värdsholmen's Kent Törnblom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonny Almqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Tage Brodin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Värdsholmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hudiksvalls United the free kick. Tage Brodin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jonny Almqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Törnblom in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Hudiksvalls United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Stenquist to maneuver through the defense. Jonny Almqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peder Gernberg in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute John Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Almqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Jonny Almqvist throw himself and got hold of the ball when Håkan Eklund in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jonny Almqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Eklund in the 26th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, BK Värdsholmen's Åke Öman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonny Almqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Brodin in the 34th minute of play. Bo-Erik Grelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, BK Värdsholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Norberg to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Hökkvist came free, but Joel Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Hudiksvalls United got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Stenquist. Jonny Almqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Eklund in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goal looked a bit too open when John Eckegren came free, but Jonny Almqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peder Gernberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonny Almqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Peder Gernberg slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After 54 minutes, Peder Gernberg made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hudiksvalls United's Björn Björklund shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joel Tolsson but with some difficulty. Jonny Almqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Åke Öman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Almqvist having to interfere. Rikard Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonny Almqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Eklund in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Peder Gernberg notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist. Jonny Almqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peder Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Almqvist having to interfere. Håkan Eklund charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Eklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BK Värdsholmen getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Håkan Eklund hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Håkan Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Almqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonny Almqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Öman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Kent Törnblom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jonny Almqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Törnblom in the 81st minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Jonny Almqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonny Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Peder Gernberg put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonny Almqvist. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkan Eklund in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonny Almqvist saved Hudiksvalls United from getting behind. Jonny Almqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Eckegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute of the match Roy Hamberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonny Almqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonny Almqvist came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Värdsholmen's Håkan Eklund. But to his dismay, Håkan Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. When the referee ended the match the BK Värdsholmen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
