After a defensive mix-up in Zero Hedge's zone, Rikard Stenquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Löv came out of the goal and Rikard Stenquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zero Hedge were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Hudiksvalls United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Nordström took the corner. Hans Nordström made a great header on Zero Hedge's corner, it was just that Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Hudiksvalls United getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ingvar Hökkvist hit a great ball. Bertil Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Hökkvist was the one to do the kick off. Jonny Almqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Åström in the 55th minute. Jonny Almqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Åström in the 60th minute of the match. Bertil Åström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonny Almqvist having to make a save. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Zero Hedge got a freekick which was hit by Karl Lindström.
