In the 12th minute József Murai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Jernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Bergren came free, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. József Murai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Einar Jernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einar Jernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Espinosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Högman in the 19th minute of play forced Worst Team Ever's goalkeeper Lazaros Kotsiopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Elliot Högman sped through Worst Team Ever's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lazaros Kotsiopoulos. Einar Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Espinosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by József Murai in the 27th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Robert Gustavsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hisingen IK and the Worst Team Ever players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Hisingen IK got a freekick which was hit by Robert Gustavsson. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Espinosa in the 36th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cai Espinosa made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Stor Klack sped through Hisingen IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Einar Jernberg. In the 55th match minute, Worst Team Ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cai Espinosa to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elliot Högman in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lazaros Kotsiopoulos saved Worst Team Ever from getting behind. Einar Jernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Pettersson in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Pettersson in the 60th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Einar Jernberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edvard Bergren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Hisingen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Stålman to maneuver through the defense. Ralf Pettersson struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Einar Jernberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Worst Team Ever. Stor Klack charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stor Klack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Einar Jernberg managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Worst Team Ever's Stor Klack fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Espinosa in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Einar Jernberg saved Hisingen IK from getting behind. Einar Jernberg came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Worst Team Ever's Petter Hansson. But to his dismay, Petter Hansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The supporters of Worst Team Ever booed when Hisingen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Fagrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Worst Team Ever's Cai Espinosa got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Elliot Högman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cai Espinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Einar Jernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hisingen IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Worst Team Ever were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
