Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Carvalhal in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Jakobsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Magnolfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kenneth Kvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Jakobsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Carvalhal's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Gunnar Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Carvalhal in the 11th minute of play. When Snett★inåt★bakåt's Fernando Carvalhal in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gunnar Jakobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnar Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Carvalhal in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Snett★inåt★bakåt got a corner. FK Crvena Zvezda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aleksander Zagrobelny ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gunnar Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Carvalhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. You Lei Zheng hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Fernando Carvalhal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Snett★inåt★bakåt's Fernando Carvalhal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunnar Jakobsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Åke Browald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Giöck during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claes Bratt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Snett★inåt★bakåt's Aleksander Zagrobelny shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gunnar Jakobsson but with some difficulty. Fernando Carvalhal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 59th playminute. Fernando Carvalhal came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gunnar Jakobsson could save by the left post. After 64 minutes, Claes Bratt made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Snett★inåt★bakåt's Kenneth Kvarnström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Carvalhal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunnar Jakobsson having to make a save. With a little luck, FK Crvena Zvezda's Gunnar Jakobsson got control of the ball when Fernando Carvalhal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Jakobsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Snett★inåt★bakåt's Göran Jansson was substituted for Fernando Carvalhal. After 95 played minutes FK Crvena Zvezda got a freekick which was hit by Elof Alströmer. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
