In the 12th minute Timmy Bergendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Löv during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrick Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Lövskog in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Brandbergen Bears's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Jakobsson came free, but Patrick Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Pål Håkansson managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Brandbergen Bears's Alvin Engström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Dag Bagge got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hockeysnubbarnas BK. Alvin Engström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pål Håkansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Timmy Bergendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Pål Håkansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Brandbergen Bears's Bengt Glanselius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pål Håkansson. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. After 45 played minutes Hockeysnubbarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by Frank Jakobsson. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Björn Lövskog to strike the kick off in the second half. When Dag Bagge fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hockeysnubbarnas BK's protests and gave Dag Bagge a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Hockeysnubbarnas BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Bagge to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes Hockeysnubbarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by Dag Bagge. In the 55thth minute of the game Timmy Bergendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Pål Håkansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pål Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Bergendahl in the 60th minute of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Alvin Engström advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Timmy Bergendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Björn Lövskog in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Gallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brandbergen Bears's Patrick Gallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Brandbergen Bears from getting a goal against them. In the 74thth minute of the game Björn Lövskog who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brandbergen Bears's Patrick Gallin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brandbergen Bears's Patrick Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Lövskog in the 79th minute of play. When Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Björn Lövskog in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pål Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Bergendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
