Folke Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Michel Kinell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Gustaf Kullgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Michel Kinell came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Northland Vikings's Tony Nyman. But to his dismay, Tony Nyman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Michel Kinell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Tony Nyman put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Kinell. Northland Vikings's Gustaf Kullgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Czajka in the 21st minute of play. Northland Vikings's Espen Husøy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kalle Eklund in the 43 minute of the game. Northland Vikings's Tony Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tony Nyman made the kick off in the second half. Northland Vikings's Espen Husøy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kalle Eklund, made in the 50th minute of the game. Gustaf Kullgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Specht, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Nyman in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Kinell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Espen Husøy during the 57th minute. Gustaf Kullgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Specht in the 67th minute of play. Nykvarn's Viggo Samuelsson was substituted for Harald Specht. The corner ended in Ulf Svensson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nykvarn's Michel Kinell did a great save. In the 74th minute Tony Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Kinell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Stig-Åke Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. When Kalu Musta came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Northland Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalu Musta couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goalkeeper Michel Kinell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Nyman. Michel Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Nyman in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Ayvaz Tigin got a free kick in the 87th minute. Tony Nyman struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Michel Kinell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Northland Vikings's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
