Vito Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Termander in the 18th minute of play. Dennis Sondermann made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Stig Hasselqvist sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Frogner getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Börje Sandberg hit a great ball. Frogner's Dennis Sondermann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Frogner from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Frogner got a freekick which was hit by Birger Överman. A collision led to Höglunda IK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sven-Olof Sjöberg hit a great ball. Felix Stigsson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Frogner getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Börje Sandberg hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Olof Sjöberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Frogner got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Engström. Edvin Svanström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Eliasson in the 66th minute of play forced Frogner's goalkeeper Dennis Sondermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vito Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Termander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Frogner were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Höglunda IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin Västberg took the corner. In the 74th minute Felix Stigsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Sondermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Billvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
