After 16 minutes of play, BK Gubbhöft's Sven-Oskar Låsberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Jansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elefanterna. In the 21st minute Alf Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Hök saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Oskar Låsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Elefanterna's Johnny Ekeroth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rune Jansson. In the 33rd minute, Elefanterna's Sivert Sill dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. After 37 played minutes Elefanterna got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Sill. Elefanterna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
