Onsala Ass Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mellansels stationsgäng the free kick. In the 7th minute, Jan Björnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Håning in the 7th minute of play. When Joachim Telin got free in front of the goal in the 8th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Thomas Hägglund was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fredrik Almqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Fredric Colin made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Hägglund. Onsala Ass Kickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Åke Biörkquist hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Thomas Hägglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Wassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mellansels stationsgäng were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Onsala Ass Kickers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nils Pihlblad took the corner. The corner ended in Nils Pihlblad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund did a great save. In the 28th match minute, Onsala Ass Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Onsala Ass Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Wassenius came free, but Thomas Hägglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Onsala Ass Kickers getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sivert Hellsing hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Åke Wassenius in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Hägglund saved Onsala Ass Kickers from getting behind. Fredrik Almqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 34th minute of play. Tor Westerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Thomas Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Wassenius in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Åke Wassenius made a kick off. Thomas Hägglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Wassenius in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Onsala Ass Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Colin came free, but Thomas Hägglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Bror Håning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Onsala Ass Kickers booed when Mellansels stationsgäng was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Onsala Ass Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Biörkquist to maneuver through the defense. Mellansels stationsgäng were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Onsala Ass Kickers's much stronger midfield.
