An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Rydberg in the 5th minute of play forced Mellansels stationsgäng's goalkeeper Henry Brolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mellansels stationsgäng's Henry Brolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Palm in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Mellansels stationsgäng got a freekick which was hit by Bror Håning. Joacim Söderberg was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Bror Håning capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bror Håning really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Mellansels stationsgäng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algot Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Holmberg in the 26th minute of play forced Mellansels stationsgäng's goalkeeper Henry Brolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes Mellansels stationsgäng got a freekick which was hit by Tor Westerberg. Ola Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Henry Brolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonstorp FK's Joacim Söderberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Jonstorp FK from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Bror Håning took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Joacim Söderberg to make any attempt to save it. In the 44th match minute, Jonstorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Åke Wassenius was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Mellansels stationsgäng's Henry Brolin got control of the ball when Ola Isaksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonstorp FK's Hjalmar Palm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Brolin. That made the score 2-1 after 55 minutes of play. In the 60th minute, Niclas Rydberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ola Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Brolin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niclas Rydberg went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Niclas Rydberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henry Brolin. The goal made the score 2-3. Henry Brolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Rydberg in the 88th minute of the match. Algot Mattsson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Simon Strand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Henry Brolin made a huge save. Börje Möllgren hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jonstorp FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
