The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Kielstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ove Stor made a huge save. Robert Kielstedt took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Stor. Ove Stor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Östen Lundin took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Stor. Ove Stor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Lundin got free with Ove Stor in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ove Stor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Kielstedt in the 10th minute. Ove Stor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 16 minutes on the clock, Bengt-Åke Wassenius commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Fulham Broadway FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jens-Åke Söderberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mellansels stationsgäng's Henry Brolin. 2-1. Bror Håning received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ove Stor came out and tried to block the shot, but Bror Håning slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Fredric Colin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ove Stor. Fredric Colin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Ove Stor was a little too slow when Robert Kielstedt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 5-1. Mellansels stationsgäng's Robert Kielstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Mellansels stationsgäng's Robert Kielstedt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-1. Fulham Broadway FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Bror Håning scored to the left of an out of position Ove Stor, making the score, 7-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurt Wallengren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Mellansels stationsgäng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Pihlblad to maneuver through the defense. After 54 minutes, Sune Beckström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mellansels stationsgäng and the Fulham Broadway FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Mellansels stationsgäng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Beckström to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Kielstedt in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ove Stor saved Fulham Broadway FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Robert Kielstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mellansels stationsgäng's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Kielstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Stor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Robert Kielstedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Stor. Fulham Broadway FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Kielstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Ove Stor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Håning in the 68th minute of play. Ove Stor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Kielstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Stor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Colin in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Mellansels stationsgäng booed when Fulham Broadway FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ove Stor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Kielstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Stor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kielstedt in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Bror Håning cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Ove Stor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ove Stor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bror Håning went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Robert Kielstedt scored 11-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Stor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Fredric Colin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ove Stor. Fulham Broadway FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredric Colin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-1. Bror Håning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils Pihlblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mellansels stationsgäng's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
