Osvald Åström hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Tasso came free, but Marcus Svanér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Sune Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleven Nation Army's Marcus Svanér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kruuse in the 36th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Eleven Nation Army's goalie and right to Göran Hamberg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Eleven Nation Army's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Matthias Hedvall fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svennis Grabbar FF's protests and gave Matthias Hedvall a yellow card for diving instead. Matthias Hedvall hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sune Nilsson got free with Tony Henriksson in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when Svennis Grabbar FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Kruuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio Carlos Tasso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Bo Kruuse got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bo Kruuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Bo Kruuse had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaj Engström during the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Svennis Grabbar FF's Osvald Åström got a free kick in the 69th minute. Tony Henriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Uter in the 75th minute of the match. Marcus Svanér made an important save on a dangerous shot by 柯天林 in the 77th minute. Antônio Carlos Tasso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee gave Svennis Grabbar FF a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antônio Carlos Tasso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eleven Nation Army's Marcus Svanér. 0-2. 97 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Tasso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcus Svanér, 0-3. The Eleven Nation Army supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Svennis Grabbar FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Svennis Grabbar FF.
