FC Bodil United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Himna FF the free kick. Ingvar Hökqvist scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börge Forss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Himna FF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ian Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Börge Forss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Billberg in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Ingvar Hökqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Drake in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Karl-Johan Drake made a precise shot to the right of Börge Forss. Himna FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 26th minute Krister Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Himna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Drake came free, but Börge Forss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Drake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Bodil United's Ulf Lång got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Bodil United's Krister Billberg got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ulf Lång came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Bodil United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Lång couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mats Brodin made a kick off. Himna FF's Börge Forss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Drake in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ingvar Hökqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börge Forss. That made the score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match, Karl-Johan Drake tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Börge Forss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Joseph Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Hökqvist in the 63rd minute of play forced Himna FF's goalkeeper Börge Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Drake scored 0-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börge Forss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Johan Drake was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. FC Bodil United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 69 minutes, Felix Larsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Himna FF and the FC Bodil United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Himna FF! The referee gave FC Bodil United a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karl-Johan Drake, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Himna FF's Börge Forss. 0-6. Himna FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Karl-Johan Drake scored to the left of an out of position Börge Forss, making the score, 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bodil United's Krister Billberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Börge Forss. That made the score 0-8 after 81 minutes of play. With a little luck, Himna FF's Börge Forss got control of the ball when Ingvar Hökqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Holm to maneuver through the defense. Krister Billberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Forss having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ingvar Hökqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börge Forss. That made the score 0-9 in the 93 minute of play. FC Bodil United played a much better game than Himna FF and deserved their victory. The Himna FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
