Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Michael Åhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Åhlberg in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Ahlén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ingvar Engström came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Linköpings AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Engström couldn't finish the play. Max Ahlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Engström in the 14th minute of play. Ingvar Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Max Ahlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Källberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Åhlberg in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Max Ahlén saved Vjsk Youth Brooklyn from getting behind. When Aron Kråk fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's protests and gave Aron Kråk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when Vjsk Youth Brooklyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Kråk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Styrbjörn Svensson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Max Ahlén. Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ingvar Engström struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Max Ahlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linköpings AIK. Ingvar Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Max Ahlén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Vilanova in the 33rd minute of play. Ingvar Engström struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Max Ahlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linköpings AIK.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Apelkvist made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Vjsk Youth Brooklyn got a freekick which was hit by Vito Vilanova. After 61 played minutes Michael Åhlberg rounded Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Max Ahlén made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Michael Åhlberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th match minute, Vjsk Youth Brooklyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Olov Bock's shot from long distance in the 69th minute was not bad at all, but Vjsk Youth Brooklyn's Max Ahlén knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Max Ahlén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Åhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Vjsk Youth Brooklyn got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Johansson. Michael Åhlbergs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Max Ahlén to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 93rd minute Lukas Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
