Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michael Åhlberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Larsson during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Himna FF's Felix Larsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ingvar Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Ingvar Engström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linköpings AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Börge Forss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Källberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Rickard Hedlund advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Michael Åhlberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Börge Forss. Michael Åhlberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, Himna FF's goalkeeper Börge Forss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Åhlberg. Börge Forss made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Michael Åhlberg sent off a good shot on target. Börge Forss didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. In the 31st minute Valter Källberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Forss was a little too slow when Ingvar Engström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Engström got free with Börge Forss in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Himna FF's Börge Forss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Himna FF from getting a goal against them. Linköpings AIK's Michael Åhlberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mats Brodin made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Ivarsson came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valter Källberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Michael Åhlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börge Forss was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. August Öman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Styrbjörn Svensson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Himna FF's Börge Forss didn't even have to move. In the 69thth minute of the game Michael Åhlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Himna FF's Börge Forss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Börge Forss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Michael Åhlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börge Forss. Himna FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Åhlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 76th minute Ingvar Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Källberg in the 77th minute of play forced Himna FF's goalkeeper Börge Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Valter Källberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Forss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Forss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ingvar Engström scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börge Forss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Himna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Engström came free, but Börge Forss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ingvar Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Linköpings AIK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
