In the 4th minute, Alfons Joensson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Billy Pihl, passed just outside the right post. In the 8thth minute of the game Aaron Fors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norra Sandby FF's Zachariasz Serwacki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zachariasz Serwacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Fors in the 9th minute of play. Aaron Fors scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zachariasz Serwacki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Wilhelm Hård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Serwacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariasz Serwacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Hård in the 22nd minute of play forced Norra Sandby FF's goalkeeper Zachariasz Serwacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Serwacki having to interfere. The corner led Norra Sandby FF's Karl-Oskar Örtendal to fire away a dangerous shot which Billy Pihl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zachariasz Serwacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Hård in the 32nd minute of play. When Tage Modig fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norra Sandby FF's protests and gave Tage Modig a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Norra Sandby FF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tage Modig hit a great ball. Norra Sandby FF's Zachariasz Serwacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Fors in the 41st minute of play. Jan-Olof Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Zlatan BK booed when Norra Sandby FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börge Botvidsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zachariasz Serwacki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Börge Botvidsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Billy Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Göransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zachariasz Serwacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Hård in the 65th minute of play. Billy Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Göransson in the 69th minute of the match. Alfons Joensson scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billy Pihl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jan-Olof Göransson fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Edvin Engström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zachariasz Serwacki. Norra Sandby FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 76th minute Wilhelm Hård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Serwacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
