Evert Offendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to The Alliance getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Per Duset hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Björkö BK's Jakub Kornecki tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anders Asplund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Evert Offendahl made a huge save. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Alliance's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jakub Kornecki was slow to take the kick. During this time Björkö BK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Björkö BK's corner Jakub Kornecki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evert Offendahl quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, The Alliance's Evert Offendahl got control of the ball when Torsten Åberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Björkö BK defense, Bixente Massardier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Mårtensson. The Björkö BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Mårtensson should have stopped the shot. Roy Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Hermansson in the 22nd minute of play. Kasper Hermansson scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roy Mårtensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bengt-Åke Nordkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Strömberg hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Roy Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Nordmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When The Alliance's Sven-Erik Högberg in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Bengt-Åke Nordkvist made the kick off in the second half. Björkö BK's Oskar Viberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sven Söderberg, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Per Duset hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Anders Asplund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evert Offendahl having to make a save. Björkö BK's André Strömberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wu Shi Di, made in the 60th minute of the game. The Alliance were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Björkö BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urban Galvan took the corner. Torsten Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Bixente Massardier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bixente Massardier in the 74th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Klas Albäck put in a rough tackle. When Bengt-Åke Nordkvist came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Björkö BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Åke Nordkvist couldn't finish the play.
