A collision led to IFK Söderköping getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lars-Erik Widberg hit a great ball. Marc Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Agunnaryd IK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Bohlin came free, but Marc Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Ahlerot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Agunnaryd IK defense, Torbjörn Bohlin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marc Lundgren. The Agunnaryd IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marc Lundgren should have stopped the shot. Agunnaryd IK's Marc Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Widberg in the 31st minute of play. Marc Lundgren made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Torbjörn Bohlin sent off a good shot on target. Agunnaryd IK's Marc Lundgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Agunnaryd IK from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, IFK Söderköping's Roland Holmstedt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 40 minutes into the game, Christopher Boström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agunnaryd IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Söderköping the free kick. IFK Söderköping's Aron Göransson was substituted for Lars-Erik Widberg. In the 41st minute, Christopher Boström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Agunnaryd IK's Villiam Månsson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjörn Bohlin got free with Marc Lundgren in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Jonathan Grubb in the 45th minute really tested Marc Lundgren's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The referee ignored IFK Söderköping's protests and gave Jonathan Grubb a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes IFK Söderköping got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Grubb. Tomas Wickander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Ahlerot having to interfere. After 59 played minutes IFK Söderköping got a freekick which was hit by Aron Göransson. Anders Ånger kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Per-Oskar Möller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 68 minutes into the match, Per-Oskar Möller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc Lundgren. Agunnaryd IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Oskar Möller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Marc Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Möller, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of IFK Söderköping booed when Agunnaryd IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torbjörn Bohlin in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marc Lundgren saved Agunnaryd IK from getting behind. Aron Göransson's late challenge caught a Agunnaryd IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Göransson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Aron Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IFK Söderköping's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
