Hermanö Oilers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viggo Björck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viggo Björck in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Melo saved Hermanö Oilers from getting behind. Hermanö Oilers's Cássio Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Björck in the 14th minute of play. Cássio Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Björck, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Tre Starka's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Anton Mattsson scored to the left of an out of position Birger Tomasson, making the score, 1-1. Tre Starka were furious when Vilhelm Kilberg was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 24th minute, one of Tre Starka:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tre Starka. In the 33rd minute, Orvar Stenquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermanö Oilers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermanö Oilers's Arne Bryngelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Birger Tomasson. That made the score 4-1 after 36 minutes of play. In the 38th minute Emil Wallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Hermanö Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Håkansson came free, but Cássio Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mikael Håkansson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tre Starka's protests and gave Mikael Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tre Starka getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mikael Håkansson hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orvar Stenquist to make the kick off. Birger Tomasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Wallgren in the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hermanö Oilers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patrik Gudmundsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Tre Starka's players had a chance to rest. Kristoffer Tidéksson made a great header on Tre Starka's corner, it was just that Hermanö Oilers's Cássio Melo managed to reach the ball for a save. 62 minutes into the match, Tre Starka's Mikael Håkansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Wallgren in the 80th minute of play forced Tre Starka's goalkeeper Birger Tomasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klas Löfkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klas Löfkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Birger Tomasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute of the match Patrik Holmberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birger Tomasson skillfully saved the ball.
