Marcus Klint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Giliusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Brian Samuelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marcus Klint made a huge save. The Sledgehammer KO fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Sledgehammer KO's Brian Samuelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The wind increased when Brian Samuelsson made the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the game, Melker Sandström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Rocco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sledgehammer KO the free kick. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Team Rocco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Team Rocco's Marcus Klint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Samuelsson in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Team Rocco defense, Örjan Johansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Klint. The Team Rocco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Klint should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Team Rocco's Peder Blom threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lennart Abrahamsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th match minute, Sledgehammer KO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Sledgehammer KO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
