In the 5th minute, Peter Bank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Giliusson in the 6th minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Sonny Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peder Blom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Cane in the 7th minute. Sonny Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Giliusson in the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Cane dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Peder Blom, 1-0. Peder Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Wallgren in the 24th minute of the match. Wilhelm Cane kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hermanö Oilers's Sonny Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Giliusson in the 26th minute of play. Manfred Bokelund kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Elliott Håkansson charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliott Håkansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilhelm Cane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Peder Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peder Blom was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Wilhelm Cane capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilhelm Cane really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Emil Wallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peder Blom having to interfere. Peder Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Wallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brian Samuelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Peder Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Wallgren in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Sledgehammer KO's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Stenquist came free, but Peder Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 62 minutes, Eric Ahlfors mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sledgehammer KO and the Hermanö Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Sledgehammer KO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Ahlfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sledgehammer KO made a substitution. Joel Bagge replaced Oliver Giliusson. In the 63rd minute, Eric Ahlfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sten Stål kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Brian Samuelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sonny Åkesson was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Sledgehammer KO defense, Emil Wallgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peder Blom. The Sledgehammer KO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peder Blom should have stopped the shot. Sledgehammer KO's Elliott Håkansson got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Elliott Håkansson off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sledgehammer KO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Peder Blom had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Patrik Holmberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Peder Blom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Wallgren's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Hermanö Oilers were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Sledgehammer KO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrik Holmberg took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Patrik Holmberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peder Blom quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peder Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Bank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Kaxe to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Samuelsson in the 97th minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Sonny Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sledgehammer KO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hermanö Oilers.
