The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Strömsbro IF's Örjan Frisk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Blom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tony Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Blom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Skarkman in the 20th minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Henry Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strömsbro IF's Harry Blom managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sivert Sander in the 22 minute of the game. 23 minutes into the game, Rikard Hägglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Henry Blom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the game, Tony Skarkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Polar Ice Caps were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Strömsbro IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. André Botvidsson took the corner. After taking down the ball on Polar Ice Caps's corner André Botvidsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luis-Miguel Camara quite easily take care of the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Eron to strike the kick off in the second half. Henry Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Skarkman in the 51st minute of play. Tony Skarkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Blom having to interfere. Luis-Miguel Camara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's André Botvidsson got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tony Skarkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Eron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Luis-Miguel Camara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
