The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, André Carlsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wictor Hagström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gottfrid Kullander made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Folke Alebäck sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Biörling in the 18th minute of play forced FC Kurdish Warriors's goalkeeper Wictor Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, André Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, FC Kurdish Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when André Carlsson came free, but Wictor Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Ernst Skog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hummerfiskarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kurdish Warriors the free kick. A collision led to Hummerfiskarna getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ernst Skog hit a great ball. The supporters of Hummerfiskarna booed when FC Kurdish Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Christoffersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hummerfiskarna's Allan Biörling got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gottfrid Kullander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niclas Hjälm in the 30th minute. Gottfrid Kullander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Alebäck in the 32nd minute of play. When Hummerfiskarna's André Carlsson in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Åke Palmquist's late challenge caught a FC Kurdish Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Palmquist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hummerfiskarna getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Åke Palmquist hit a great ball. After the first half Hummerfiskarna were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A sloppy throw-in by Isac Christoffersson in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hummerfiskarna's Malcolm Göransson. André Carlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Wictor Hagström made a huge save. André Carlsson in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wictor Hagström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 59th match minute, Hummerfiskarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Palmquist to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Kurdish Warriors's Wictor Hagström got control of the ball when André Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, August Kling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hummerfiskarna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
