Yngve Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Lepucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Liden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Calixto came free, but Yngve Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Liden FF's Gottfrid Jansson in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fågelmara IK's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Liden FF defense, Witold Lepucki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yngve Bäckström. The Liden FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yngve Bäckström should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimír Kuthan in the 16th minute of play forced Liden FF's goalkeeper Yngve Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Liden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Calixto came free, but Yngve Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper Tom Colling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcu Vlas. Tom Colling was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcu Vlas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Karl-Åke Viberg charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Åke Viberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute Amadeo Calixto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liden FF's Yngve Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Calixto in the 33rd minute of play. Tom Colling was a little too slow when Gottfrid Jansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Liden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Lepucki came free, but Yngve Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Amadeo Calixto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Yngve Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amadeo Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Bäckström having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Calixto to make the kick off. A collision led to Liden FF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Stefan Käller hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Liden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Calixto came free, but Yngve Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Amadeo Calixto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liden FF's Yngve Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeo Calixto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Yngve Bäckström made a huge save. Yngve Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Calixto in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Gottfrid Jansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yngve Bäckström made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Witold Lepucki sent off a good shot on target. Witold Lepucki succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 66th playminute. 69 minutes into the match, Witold Lepucki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yngve Bäckström. Liden FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Lepucki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After 73 minutes, Witold Lepucki made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Liden FF's Yngve Bäckström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeo Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Bäckström having to interfere. Yngve Bäckström had great luck who in the 82ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Amadeo Calixto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Liden FF's zone, Witold Lepucki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yngve Bäckström came out of the goal and Witold Lepucki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Witold Lepucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Yngve Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabinho Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rdth minute of the game Amadeo Calixto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liden FF's Yngve Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fågelmara IK were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Liden FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amadeo Calixto took the corner. Amadeo Calixto made a great header on Fågelmara IK's corner, it was just that Liden FF's Yngve Bäckström managed to reach the ball for a save. Fågelmara IK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
