The referee ignored Kattvik kings's protests and gave Andreas Hult a yellow card for diving instead. FC LauB's Ulf Falck was substituted for Tord Tinglöf. Kristoffer Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Mendez in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Kattvik kings booed when FC LauB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Björck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Söder kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Yao Jing Zhen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kristoffer Nordin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Mendez in the 14th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hampus Söderström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Alebeck went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, Alf Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kattvik kings's Kristoffer Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Löfgren in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes, Kjell Wennerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kattvik kings and the FC LauB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Nordin having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Kattvik kings's goal looked a bit too open when Oriche Rotges came free, but Kristoffer Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell-Arne Björck during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes FC LauB got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Björck. After a rather tough play, Kattvik kings's Lennart Dalberg got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Kattvik kings players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC LauB were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Mendez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kristoffer Nordin came out of the goal and Alf Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Kattvik kings's Kristoffer Nordin got control of the ball when Pascual Markel tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Wennerberg couldn't finish the play.
