All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klas Vallgren made a kick off. After 57 minutes of play, AC United's Gottfrid Larsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Samuelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Jonasson in the 61st minute of play forced AC United's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Ekgren kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Gustaf Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Vallgren in the 63rd minute of the match. Algot Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jimmy Johnsson fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. AC United's Gustaf Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Vallgren in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Algot Månsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Samuelsson. The goal made the score 2-2. After 79 played minutes, Melchester Rovers's Gilbert Ciborek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustaf Rudberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Melchester Rovers reached it. After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Ivar Fredriksson got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Kaj Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Melchester Rovers fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Klas Vallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melchester Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Klas Vallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaf Rudberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, AC United failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
