Karl-Michael Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Kvarnström in the 13th minute of the match. Gunnar Granqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Brovall, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Anton Valrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gunnar Granqvist made a huge save. Anton Valrot scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Granqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 24 played minutes Hogans Heroes got a freekick which was hit by Lars Brovall. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Lönn in the 25th minute of play forced Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Soned succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 26th playminute. Gunnar Granqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Hellsing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Anton Kvarnström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Stockholm and the Hogans Heroes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Hogans Heroes's zone, Leo Lönn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Michael Carlsson came out of the goal and Leo Lönn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Michael Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Anton Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Michael Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Soned came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gunnar Granqvist could save by the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Hellsing to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Hogans Heroes booed when IFK Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Lönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Michael Carlsson was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Anton Kvarnström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anton Kvarnström really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. IFK Stockholm's Gunnar Granqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Soned in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of IFK Stockholm booed when Hogans Heroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Soned didn't get a good kick on the ball.
