Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Klas Vallgren started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Staffan Sundén in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Samuelsson saved Melchester Rovers from getting behind. Klas Vallgren's late challenge caught a FC Blåvitt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klas Vallgren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Klas Vallgren got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Herman Kihlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Samuelsson skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Melchester Rovers defense, Andy Robertsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Samuelsson. The Melchester Rovers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Samuelsson should have stopped the shot. In the 18th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvald Tinglöf to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute FC Blåvitt were awarded a corner. Herman Kihlberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Blåvitt's corner Andy Robertsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patrick Samuelsson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 35th minute Staffan Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, FC Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Smitt to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Enström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Tinglöf in the 42nd minute of play. Melchester Rovers's Patrick Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Tamminga in the 45th minute of play. After 48 played minutes Melchester Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Klas Vallgren. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Staffan Sundén made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Staffan Sundén notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Melchester Rovers's Patrick Samuelsson. Patrick Samuelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melchester Rovers's Juliusz Oliszewski pulled a muscle in his back after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sune Byström during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Melchester Rovers's Marc Lägdin was substituted for Juliusz Oliszewski. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when FC Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Borkowski to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Melchester Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Osvald Tinglöf. Torsten Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Tinglöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Sune Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Samuelsson having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Sune Byström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kaj Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Osvald Tinglöf fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melchester Rovers's protests and gave Osvald Tinglöf a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Osvald Tinglöf got a free kick in the 95th minute.
