A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Bertil Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Stockholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Andreasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukas Stålberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Helander came free, but Gunnar Granqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Stålberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Andreasson in the 10th minute. Lukas Stålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes NovaStella FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simon Ek who took care of the corner kick. In the 17th minute Lars Helander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match NovaStella FK got a corner. IFK Stockholm's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michael Nyman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led NovaStella FK's Michael Nyman to fire away a dangerous shot which Gunnar Granqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lars Helander sped through IFK Stockholm's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gunnar Granqvist. Daniel Hellström charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Hellström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to NovaStella FK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Daniel Hellström hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes, IFK Stockholm's Simon Ek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lukas Stålberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK Stockholm reached it. In the 40th minute Lars Helander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Granqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunnar Granqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Helander in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half NovaStella FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Lönn to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Leo Lönn made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. NovaStella FK's Lukas Stålberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 54 in the game by Lars Helander from a close distance when the talented Gunnar Granqvist managed to make a qualified save. IFK Stockholm's players were relieved. Lukas Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Andreasson in the 55th minute of play. After taking down the ball on IFK Stockholm's corner Simon Ek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lukas Stålberg quite easily take care of the ball. NovaStella FK's Lukas Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Kvarnström in the 63rd minute of play. Anton Kvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Hellström hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Lukas Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Alkvist in the 81st minute of the match. Lukas Stålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gunnar Granqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Helander in the 84th minute. Lukas Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Alkvist in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Bertil Andreasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Stockholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Alkvist in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Stålberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. NovaStella FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
