After 8 played minutes, Ytterby FF's Tommy Åström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alf Karlberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ytterby FF reached it. The supporters of Skånes stolthet! booed when Ytterby FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes, Skånes stolthet!'s Taylor Silverholt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valentin Åkerberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Ytterby FF were furious when Mårten Wiklund was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Ytterby FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skånes stolthet!:s goal. Valentin Åkerberg had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Taylor Silverholt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alf Karlberg made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Stig-Åke Brolin sent off a good shot on target. Morgan Apelquist kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Hellkvist in the 39th minute of play forced Skånes stolthet!'s goalkeeper Alf Karlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Stig-Åke Brolin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ytterby FF and the Skånes stolthet! players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Ytterby FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Brolin to maneuver through the defense. Simon Hellkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Alf Karlberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Ben Trää fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ytterby FF's protests and gave Ben Trää a yellow card for diving instead. Ben Trää hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Hellkvist made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Stig-Åke Brolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Karlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Karlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Brolin in the 56th minute of play. After 61 played minutes, Ytterby FF's Mats Almkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alf Karlberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ytterby FF reached it. Alf Karlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Hellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Hellkvist in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alf Karlberg saved Skånes stolthet! from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Skånes stolthet!'s goal looked a bit too open when Simon Hellkvist came free, but Alf Karlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Skånes stolthet! getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonard Wiberg hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Sivert Hultin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Karlberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ytterby FF's Gustav Svensson got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Ytterby FF's Valentin Åkerberg got control of the ball when Taylor Silverholt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Taylor Silverholt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Åström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alf Karlberg. Skånes stolthet!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Ytterby FF booed when Skånes stolthet! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Örn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Morgan Apelquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skånes stolthet! players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ytterby FF.
