After some careless play in the Svartvallstjärnens IF defense, Gürkan Gurka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Isaksson. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Isaksson should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Svartvallstjärnens IF's zone, Gürkan Gurka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Isaksson came out of the goal and Gürkan Gurka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save AIK FOTBOLL from getting a goal against them. Svartvallstjärnens IF were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after AIK FOTBOLL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ola Lund took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ola Lund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arne Kilström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When AIK FOTBOLL's Elof Hedin in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström got control of the ball when Hampus Beneth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Janssen charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Janssen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Svartvallstjärnens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Janssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Elof Hedin. After having played for 17 minutes, Elof Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elof Hedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Isaksson in the 21st minute of the match. George Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Dahlqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Viktor Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Arne Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Elof Hedin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Isaksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 41 minutes AIK FOTBOLL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ola Lund who took care of the corner kick. Ture Nordmark hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evert Dahlqvist made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Elof Hedin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Isaksson, 0-3. Elof Hedin took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Isaksson. George Isaksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Roland Järverup was substituted for Åke Eliasson. In the 59th minute Sven-Erik Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Elof Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elof Hedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Asmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Hampus Beneth came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Svartvallstjärnens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hampus Beneth couldn't finish the play. George Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Axelsson in the 88th minute of play. Fredrik Axelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Isaksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Axelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Axelsson came free, but George Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Viggo Harlén fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK FOTBOLL's protests and gave Viggo Harlén a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 minutes of play, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Sven-Erik Asmundsson made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Kilström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The AIK FOTBOLL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AIK FOTBOLL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
