The audience thought a goal was coming when Conny Vesterberg got free with Börje Albohm in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the match, Rank 1's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Novella came free, but Marcus Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 19 in the game by Fabiano Antonini from a close distance when the talented Börje Albohm managed to make a qualified save. Baxters Boys's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's John Guidetti got a free kick in the 20th minute. Marcus Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Novella in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Linus Lind hit a great ball. In the 44thth minute of the game John Guidetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rank 1's Marcus Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 minutes, Östen Unesson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rank 1 and the Baxters Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute of the match Kevin Skarkman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Hagström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conny Vesterberg made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Fabiano Antonini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Osman Tahir. Baxters Boys's Uzay Gencalp was substituted for John Guidetti. The supporters of Rank 1 booed when Baxters Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Tahir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Lindgren in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Ahlgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baxters Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rank 1 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's Jan-Olof Ahlgren got a free kick in the 65th minute. Baxters Boys's Börje Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Antonini in the 69th minute of play. After 73 minutes, Uzay Gencalp made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Börje Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Dick Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Hagström had great luck who in the 85thth minute grab hold of the ball when Uzay Gencalp from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Baxters Boys were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Rank 1's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Skarkman took the corner. Björn Skog tried in the game's 87th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Marcus Hagström. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. Uzay Gencalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcus Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Skarkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Baxters Boys players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
