Carl Utfal came out of the goal and Stellan Wallmark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sonstorps Fotboll's Ignacio Donostia in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sundborn IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Donostia in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Duset saved Sundborn IF from getting behind. Emil Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørg Heichendorff in the 22nd minute of the match. Carl Utfal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Martin Zachrisson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stellan Wallmark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Utfal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Jørg Heichendorff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonstorps Fotboll's Carl Utfal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Sonstorps Fotboll from getting a goal against them. Felix Arenstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when 李煜 Wu made the kick off in the second half. Emil Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Carl Utfal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Wallmark in the 54th minute of play. Felix Arenstedt was slow to take the kick. During this time Sundborn IF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Felix Arenstedt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carl Utfal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 65th minute, Ignacio Donostia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emil Duset, passed just outside the right post. Carl Utfal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Wallmark in the 68th minute of the match. Carl Utfal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Wallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sundborn IF's Sven Lind was substituted for Mohamed Salah. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 92 minutes, Martin Zachrisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sonstorps Fotboll's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Zachrisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Lind to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Sven Lind fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. Stellan Wallmark took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Utfal. Carl Utfal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sundborn IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
