An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Salah in the 3rd minute of play forced IFK Fölet's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Hylander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Mohamed Salah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars-Erik Hylander. Sundborn IF's Emil Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Pilgren in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Jonas Geofredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Duset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Pilgren in the 18th minute. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Oskar Bergman hit a great ball. When Stellan Wallmark came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sundborn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stellan Wallmark couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Wallmark in the 26th minute of play forced IFK Fölet's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Hylander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Salah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohamed Salah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars-Erik Hylander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Mohamed Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Hylander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars-Erik Hylander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Salah, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Mohamed Salah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Hylander having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Salah to strike the kick off in the second half. Lars-Erik Hylander didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sundborn IF's Stellan Wallmark shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Karl-Axel Klint got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Fölet's zone, Jarl Axelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Erik Hylander came out of the goal and Jarl Axelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Börje Ahlfors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Fölet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundborn IF the free kick. A collision led to IFK Fölet getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Börje Ahlfors hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Fölet's zone, Stellan Wallmark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Erik Hylander came out of the goal and Stellan Wallmark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mohamed Salah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundborn IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Salah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars-Erik Hylander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Vedholm in the 74th minute of play. Emil Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Stellan Wallmark reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lars-Erik Hylander. The goal made the score 0-4. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Sven Lind replaced Mohamed Salah. Sven Lind didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 81st minute. Sundborn IF's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Mellberg during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sundborn IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
