When Gunnar Klemensson fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIF's protests and gave Gunnar Klemensson a yellow card for diving instead. AIF's 汪希瑜 got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Nordström in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Brenner saved AIF from getting behind. After a rather tough play, AIF's Gunnar Klemensson got a free kick in the 27th minute. Wilhelm Alströmer made a great header on AIF's corner, it was just that spikarna's Samuel Enström managed to reach the ball for a save. spikarna's Tommy Strömbom got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Jonas Nordström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The spikarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half spikarna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Nordström in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Brenner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Nordström in the 63rd minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Edgar Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Nordström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Edgar Brenner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Alströmer to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Nordström's late challenge caught a AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Nordström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jonas Nordström hit a great ball. The AIF fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when AIF's Serbülent Salim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samuel Enström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serbülent Salim went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 汪希瑜 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Samuel Enström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Brenner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Gunnar Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AIF's Edgar Brenner got control of the ball when Jonas Nordström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Brenner made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Jim Tönnberg sent off a good shot on target. spikarna were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AIF to leave the ground with a draw.
