After 16 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Oscar Hedman managed, with a little bit of luck, save Greger Rudkvist's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Greger Rudkvist scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Hedman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Ivan Rolandsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Hedman was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Karl-Johan Dahlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Johan Dahlberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Esbjörn Hybbert's late challenge caught a DIF LEEDS BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Hybbert helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Holger Lidström. Oscar Hedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Dahlberg in the 31st minute of play. Inácio Lago scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Rolandsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Lago came free, but Ivan Rolandsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Blueskatterna's zone, Inge Rosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Rolandsson came out of the goal and Inge Rosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Axel Tönnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Blueskatterna and the DIF LEEDS BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Blueskatterna's Axel Tönnberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. 2-2 became the score in the 45th minute when Holger Lidström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inácio Lago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Kjellqvist came free, but Oscar Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Rolandsson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Inácio Lago sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Greger Rudkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Hedman. DIF LEEDS BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Greger Rudkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Karl-Johan Dahlberg sped through DIF LEEDS BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oscar Hedman. Ivan Rolandsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inácio Lago in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Karl-Johan Dahlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Blueskatterna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greger Rudkvist in the 89th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Oscar Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inge Rosen to maneuver through the defense.
