Olof Lustig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Klintæus in the 11th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Jörgen Gummeson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 18th minute Bernt Nordmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Lustig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falconer FC's Olof Lustig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ola Nordin in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Lundkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garphyttan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falconer FC the free kick. Garphyttan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
