After 2 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Tuncay Cansever. With a little luck, Xentrias's Stig Busk got control of the ball when Tuncay Cansever tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Håkansson in the 13th minute of play forced Xentrias's goalkeeper Stig Busk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tuncay Cansever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Kim Joensson in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Degerfors IF's Mattias Västlund. Albert Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Degerfors IF's Mattias Västlund managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kim Joensson in the 29 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Kim Joensson in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Degerfors IF's Mattias Västlund. Stig Busk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuncay Cansever in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Xentrias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tuncay Cansever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Tuncay Cansever sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Busk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stig Busk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay Cansever, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Xentrias's Stig Busk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuncay Cansever in the 40th minute of play. Degerfors IF were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Xentrias's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredrik Isak took the corner. Degerfors IF's Fredrik Isak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stig Busk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncay Cansever in the 45th minute of play forced Xentrias's goalkeeper Stig Busk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Degerfors IF's attentive Mattias Västlund managed to snatch the ball when Kim Joensson made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Håkan Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Matos in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christoffer Öberg made a kick off. Stig Busk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuncay Cansever in the 53rd minute of play. Degerfors IF were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Xentrias's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredrik Isak took the corner. Stig Busk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncay Cansever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuncay Cansever took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Busk. Stig Busk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, Åke Fors notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Xentrias's Stig Busk. Stig Busk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Xentrias booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Xentrias's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fors came free, but Stig Busk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Busk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Fors went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Mattias Västlund charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Västlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Mattias Västlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Christoffer Öberg got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Ana I hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 85 minutes, Fredrik Isak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Isak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Busk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fors in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Degerfors IF had played much better football throughout.
