In the 12th minute of the match Peace Home Street Boys got a corner. Kronan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sixten Molander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernt Hellkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Anders Vennersten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peace Home Street Boys's Sixten Molander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bernt Hellkvist made the kick off in the second half.
