Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when William Lundström took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Degerfors IF's zone, Charles Julin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Söderberg came out of the goal and Charles Julin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Lundström in the 12th minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Håkan Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Rune Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes, Degerfors IF's Fredrik Isak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sixten Molander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Degerfors IF reached it. Sixten Molander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncay Cansever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixten Molander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuncay Cansever in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Peace Home Street Boys booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Isak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when William Lundström came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Degerfors IF's Fredrik Isak got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl Grep kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Håkan Söderberg made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when William Lundström sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute of the game Jan-Ove Lindmark made a throw-in which Eric Gallin played forward. Mathias Granström made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Degerfors IF's Artemio Maore. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuncay Cansever stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st play minute Tuncay Cansever came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sixten Molander. 0-1. 55 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Dahlbom came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Peace Home Street Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Degerfors IF made a substitution. Åke Fors replaced Tuncay Cansever. A collision led to Peace Home Street Boys getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jan-Ove Lindmark hit a great ball. Åke Fors's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sixten Molander firmly grabbed it by the left post. Degerfors IF's Åke Fors got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Fredrik Isak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Peace Home Street Boys's Sixten Molander didn't even have to move. Åke Fors hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Erland Forss made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eric Gallin however managed to control. Erland Forss's late challenge caught a Degerfors IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erland Forss helped the player get up and apologised. Erland Forss hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Degerfors IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Degerfors IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
