In the 11th minute, Villiam Stenkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Ingmar Östlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gärsnäs BF and the Lirarnas Lag players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lirarnas Lag booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wang Cheng was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sven-Åke Hjelm. 26 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wang Cheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lirarnas Lag's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christer Wästerberg in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Christer Wästerberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wang Cheng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute, Lirarnas Lag's Simone Mihajlovič ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wang Cheng. Wang Cheng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Alf Enström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Drake's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Villiam Stenkvist put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lirarnas Lag fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Lirarnas Lag's Alf Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Drake in the 40th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Gärsnäs BF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lirarnas Lag:s goal. The referee gave Lirarnas Lag a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christer Wästerberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gärsnäs BF's Wang Cheng. 3-0. 47 minutes into the game, Örjan Håning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lirarnas Lag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gärsnäs BF the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Lirarnas Lag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Örjan Håning to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmy Ahlberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alf Enström made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bo Drake sent off a good shot on target. Alf Enström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gärsnäs BF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Troizen Mamalis hit a great ball. Troizen Mamalis missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 69 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alf Enström right hand side. Alf Enström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wang Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troizen Mamalis to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Drake during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Drake to maneuver through the defense. Wang Cheng came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lirarnas Lag's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille. But to his dismay, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wang Cheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Stenquist in the 86th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmy Ahlberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Alf Enström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille made a precise shot to the right of Wang Cheng. Gärsnäs BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Ingvar Nyqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alf Enström came out and tried to block the shot, but Ingvar Nyqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 95th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lirarnas Lag were victorious despite being under pressure from Gärsnäs BF for much of the match.
