The supporters of IFK Gladdarna booed when Zlatan sucks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ksawery Pilarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes, IFK Gladdarna's Snorre Snabb shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evert Linberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK Gladdarna reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Cichewski in the 6th minute of play forced Zlatan sucks's goalkeeper Evert Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ziggy Zaga during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zlatan sucks getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ziggy Zaga hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Fritz Berghmans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Ekberg. IFK Gladdarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fritz Berghmans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 15th minute of play forced IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Kurt Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Ekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Berghmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fritz Berghmans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kurt Ekberg having to make a save. Kurt Ekberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fritz Berghmans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Ekberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Evert Linberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Cichewski in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

IFK Gladdarna made a substitution. Frans Koopmans replaced Brian Ahlroth. In the 54th minute Fritz Berghmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fritz Berghmans in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Ekberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Berghmans came free, but Kurt Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evert Linberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Cichewski in the 59th minute of play. Evert Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Cichewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. João Vítor Fonseca was slow to take the kick. During this time Zlatan sucks's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that João Vítor Fonseca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kurt Ekberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alessandro Nesta charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Nesta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Zlatan sucks got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Nesta. Jakob Koch kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Evert Linberg made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Martin Sundin sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the game, Simon Kvarnström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zlatan sucks's Ksawery Pilarczyk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 84th minute, Jesper Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Ziggy Zaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zlatan sucks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziggy Zaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 minutes of play, Zlatan sucks's Fritz Berghmans made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Ekberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evert Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Koch, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Fritz Berghmans came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zlatan sucks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Berghmans couldn't finish the play. Evert Linberg was a little too slow when Jakob Koch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Zlatan sucks could leave the field as winners, despite IFK Gladdarna having more of the ball for most of the match.
