After a defensive mix-up in Here Comes the Hammer's zone, Orvar Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Klack came out of the goal and Orvar Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Robert Christoffersson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Here Comes the Hammer's protests and gave Robert Christoffersson a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Christoffersson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Valter Klack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Here Comes the Hammer's Valter Klack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Björk in the 28th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Christoffersson was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Carlinhos Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Here Comes the Hammer's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Hård breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlinhos Félix took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Hård.
