The throw-in from Kieran Robertson in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Schmeissen FC's Joakim Von Ancken. Jimmie Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Öfverman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Schmeissen FC's Jimmie Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Schmeissen FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Brothers of Mercy's Bengt-Rune Strömbom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimmie Bergström. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 21st minute Brothers of Mercy were awarded a corner. Thiago van Dijk went to the cornerflag to take it. Brothers of Mercy's Leonardo Odeen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jimmie Bergström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jimmie Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Rune Strömbom in the 22nd minute. Alexandre Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Schmeissen FC's goalkeeper Jimmie Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Rune Strömbom. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Kellberg in the 32nd minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Alexandre Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urban Kellberg's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Jimmie Bergström was a little too slow when Ulf Öfverman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Jimmie Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaf Berggren in the 39th minute. Bengt-Rune Strömbom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Jimmie Bergström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Gottfrid Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Rune Strömbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jimmie Bergström made a huge save.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Kellberg in the 51st minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Alexandre Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmie Bergström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandre Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Billström, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Kellberg came free, but Alexandre Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes, Nevada Sierra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brothers of Mercy and the Schmeissen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thiago van Dijk during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gottfrid Stabbe came free in the 75th minute and tried to tip the ball over Alexandre Pires, but to the joy of Brothers of Mercy's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Jimmie Bergström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nevada Sierra went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute, Nevada Sierra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gottfrid Stabbe made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Brothers of Mercy's Leonardo Odeen. 91 minutes into the game, Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmie Bergström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Federico Lazzaro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Brothers of Mercy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
