An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 3rd minute of play forced StraX Xenon FC's goalkeeper Arman Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Safet Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustav Alstedt in the 9th minute. Arman Lundström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Måns Sandberg's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Måns Sandberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of StraX Xenon FC's Arman Lundström. Arman Lundström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Juan Lebron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind StraX Xenon FC's goalkeeper Arman Lundström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the StraX Xenon FC defense, Måns Sandberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arman Lundström. The StraX Xenon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arman Lundström should have stopped the shot. Arman Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Lebron came free, but Arman Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Safet Hands made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Herman Ahlström sent off a good shot on target. Måns Sandberg took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arman Lundström. Arman Lundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Edvin Karlsson during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sven-Edvin Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Håkan Berg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the StraX Xenon FC and the Norrlands Athen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when StraX Xenon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in StraX Xenon FC's zone, Filcho Slivkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Lundström came out of the goal and Filcho Slivkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Lebron to make the kick off. Arman Lundström was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Måns Sandberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Måns Sandberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Arman Lundström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Arman Lundström was a little too slow when Måns Sandberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-7. 62 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arman Lundström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arman Lundström was a little too slow when Juan Lebron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Hermansson got free with Arman Lundström in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Blomqvist in the 86th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gilbert Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilbert Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Arman Lundström made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Ingvar Gadd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norrlands Athen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
