Gustav Alstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Ahlquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Gustav Alstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arman Lundström stood somewhat misplaced when Jonatan Aspvik came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. After 22 played minutes, Glentown FC's Ralf Fransson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arman Lundström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Jonatan Aspvik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arman Lundström having to make a save. Arman Lundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Aspvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Ahlström came free, but Olov Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glentown FC's attentive Krister Wästerberg managed to snatch the ball when Roland Almqvist made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Arman Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Aspvik in the 40th minute of the match. Roland Almqvist made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ingvar Gadd immediately put the ball in play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Aspvik was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of StraX Xenon FC booed when Glentown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Wästerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Alstedt came free, but Olov Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Sven-Edvin Karlsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist did a great save. If Jonatan Aspvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glentown FC's Krister Wästerberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roland Almqvist, made in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Jonatan Aspvik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arman Lundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 70th minute, Jonatan Aspvik made a precise shot to the right of Arman Lundström. StraX Xenon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Glentown FC's Krister Wästerberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roland Almqvist in the 73 minute of the game. Arman Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Fransson in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Glentown FC booed when StraX Xenon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Aspvik in the 79th minute of play forced StraX Xenon FC's goalkeeper Arman Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mark Bohlin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes of play, Glentown FC's Ralf Fransson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arman Lundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! StraX Xenon FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
