Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Juventus Țiu's Vlad Papadima started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes FC Lutanu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mugurel Buda who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mugurel Buda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ştefan Gârniceanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute Ionuț Stuparu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Gârniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, FC Lutanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Pencu to maneuver through the defense. Ilie Armeanca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ştefan Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Armeanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Marius Bălașa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Aelgoet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Armeanca came free, but Ştefan Gârniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Ştefan Gârniceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vlad Papadima. In the 40th minute, FC Lutanu's Virgil Goșa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Virgil Goșa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Lutanu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Virgil Goșa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Lutanu! FC Lutanu's Ştefan Gârniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Armeanca in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philip Aelgoet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Petruț Ciolac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vlad Papadima in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ştefan Gârniceanu saved FC Lutanu from getting behind. Ştefan Gârniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Papadima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Vlad Papadima put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ştefan Gârniceanu. If Ilie Armeanca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Lutanu booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Comarnescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Ilie Armeanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Gârniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vlad Papadima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ştefan Gârniceanu was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Ştefan Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Papadima, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Philip Aelgoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Bălașa having to interfere. Marius Bălașa made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Philip Aelgoet sent off a good shot on target. Ştefan Gârniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Armeanca in the 93rd minute of play. Ionuț Stuparu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Gârniceanu having to interfere. Juventus Țiu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
