Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mădălin Vintilescu started the match with the kick off. Marcel Noica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avram Chiru in the 3rd minute. Marius Encioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Chiru in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcel Noica, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. F.C. YKE's Edgar Oblemenco got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Fc S.Zaharesti from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Ionică Ike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Noica was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Avram Chiru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Avram Chiru really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 22nd match minute, Fc S.Zaharesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Moisil to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes Fc S.Zaharesti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Oblemenco who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Avram Chiru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcel Noica quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avram Chiru got free with Marcel Noica in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolae Stanciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Marcel Noica made a huge save. F.C. YKE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgar Oblemenco in the 45th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Petre Romanescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Avram Chiru made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Daniel Lunca put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Noica. Avram Chiru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edgar Oblemenco came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the F.C. YKE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Oblemenco couldn't finish the play. Marcel Noica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avram Chiru's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Edgar Oblemenco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Noica having to make a save. Mădălin Vintilescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Helmuth Duckadam made a huge save. Marcel Noica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Chiru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes, Avram Chiru made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Avram Chiru put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Noica. Marcel Noica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Lunca in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Avram Chiru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Noica was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Chiru in the 85th minute of play forced Fc S.Zaharesti's goalkeeper Marcel Noica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Fc S.Zaharesti's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Chiru came free, but Marcel Noica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. YKE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgar Oblemenco in the 90th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Constantin Buzea heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Edgar Oblemenco hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Fc S.Zaharesti's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Chiru came free, but Marcel Noica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. YKE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
